This is Rina Nagaoka from eyeforthree.
Last year was a "year of starting" for eyeforthree.
After starting the project as an in-house venture at Rohto Pharmaceutical in 2020, we were able to finally deliver eyeforthree products to our customers in 2022, thanks to the tremendous support of many people over the two years.
In particular, Yamamoto Kogaku and Honda Plus, who have achieved a 100% recycled frame and no painting after repeated trial and error since 2020. Mr. Mano, who incorporated our worldview into everything from the logo to the package design, and also provided us with management advice. I cannot thank Mr. Act Ishihara enough for his dedication to creating a package packed with sustainability.
In August, we introduced our products to customers for the first time on a tour of Marui's ethical item factory in Yurakucho, Tokyo, and in October, we finally sold them for the first time on Makuake, and from December onwards, we will be launching this e-commerce site, Ethical Living, and INNOVATION PARK in Izumi Chuo, Osaka. It was also developed by sot from OSAKA IZUMI.
2022 is also the year when we visited our Indian partner ERC for the first time. I was unable to visit India due to the coronavirus pandemic, so I finally visited India, where I felt the reality of cataract patients and post-surgery patients, and met a respected Indian entrepreneur who is working hard to solve problems. In 2023, we will accelerate our contribution to eye health in India and around the world.
In 2023, we will deliver eyeforthree to more people in Japan and make it a year that brings us closer to the world's eye health!
I would like to work with everyone to create eyeforthree in 2023. We look forward to your continued support, guidance, and encouragement!
